Depending on the period of stay, you will have the opportunity to experience personally seasonal customs such as the grape harvest (vendemmia), the olives harvest with resulting taste of oil. Events in Santa Teresa di Riva

Since 2006, the council organizes, in collaboration with some associations in the city, the "Riva White Night " which takes place in mid-August and attracts thousands of people from the entire eastern Sicily.

The Ionian Carnival, an event that sees the parade of large floats, made on site, followed by parades and masked a multitude of people. The first edition of this event was at the first half of the eighties; from 2013 also it held the Summer Carnival, with the floats paraded in the days of the previous Carnival.

Spring Festival, artistic and cultural festival began as the spring awakening, provides for the parade of floats adorned with flowers, of Sicilian carts, flag-waving, of artists from different backgrounds and of course, the "Spring" personified by the most beautiful girl in the city .
